Music and Bio

Jeffrey A. Meyer (aka JAM) is a North Dakota musician currently playing on the central coast of California. JAM mixes a collection of sounds ranging from funk, folk, rock, to pop. Living with his golden retriever in a self built 5X10 wood camper Jeffrey lives the free and wild lifestyle. This is where Jeffrey wrote a majority of the songs featured on his debut album "Wilder Times." Love, heartbreak, good times, and life gave him all the inspiration needed to write and record the album. "Wilder Times" is an international collaboration with musicians from the UK, Canada, Nashville, Fargo, and Bakersfield. Best known for backing up Johnny Cash on the bass for over a decade, Dave Roe can be heard keeping the groove on 5 songs featured on "Wilder Times".

In the summer of 2024 Jeffrey will be releasing his sophomore album which features a special collaboration with G. Love. Jeffrey says “Buckle up and get ready for some fresh, feel good, funky jams.”

Jeffrey was born and raised in the plains of North Dakota before moving to the California. Jeffrey was a co-founder and a songwriter in the rock band "The Fillers" who had great success touring all across the upper mid-west. Keep on the look out for Jeffrey A. Meyer playing live with his full band, promoting new music, and sharing music videos.
